Dr. Patel was born and raised in Houston. He loves the Bayou City and is thrilled to be able to serve the community where he grew up. 

Dr. Patel studied at the University of Texas at Austin, earning his undergraduate degree in biology. He then enrolled at the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude with his Doctor of Optometry.

He completed a specialty externship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California, as well as specialty training at a private practice in Austin, Texas, before establishing his own practice.
